When it comes to shopping on Black Friday you have choices when it comes to finding the best places to shop!

Year after year I get emails asking about where to find the best black Friday deals. There are the usual places to find them but the best place to find them are in the stores you shop in all year round. In 2011 the best stores for deals on both black Friday and cyber Monday are usually the same. The top stores in no particular order are Best Buy, Target, and Kohls. If you are like me and shop online you should get on the newsletter list for Amazon, Ebay and Apple.

If you are tech-savvy and you want to have these deals delivered right to you, you could set up a new email address and only use it for your online deals. My email address for shopping and saving money is a GMail address named something like bestshopping@gmail.com I only check this email when I am planning on buying something online.

This year my Amazon email was my source for the best bargains. Since I have a lot of techies in my family that want electronics this was my main source. I bought two digital cameras, one video camera and a few games here. I would say that this saved me over $100. I bought all of them on Black Friday since I already did my research and learned that they would not be cheaper on cyber Monday. I am not a big fan of shopping on cyber Monday and most of my stuff is bought by then. Just not a fan of crowds I guess.

Best Buy has been sending daily newsletters all week and the expectations leading to the "Day of shopping". This year I had to buy a Kindle Fire and some cables so I went to an actual store on Thursday and picked them up. I also looked at the LED tv's and put that on my list. Since I was able to actually see the picture quality in store I now know the exact model I want and when that is on sale I will jump on it.

Target also sent out numerous emails and they had some good sales but since I don't have a local Target and the shipping was free I didn't have anything that jumped out at me. Others are reporting online that they are finding some great bargains here though.

Kohl's has all types of clothing on sale and it is a good time to stock up on some gifts not only for Christmas but for birthdays as well. Their emails are done the best of the three stores mentioned above. The cool thing about Kohl's is they have more than just clothes. You can stock up on jewelry, toys, shoes, and bedroom furniture.

If you are an online shopper like me you can get your inbox filled up from Amazon, Apple and Ebay. They have been having some great deals and the daily deals section on Ebay has been amazing the whole week before Thanksgiving. This year the Apple store gave out some discounts but not as much as users expected. If you were looking for Apple discounts you could save like $40 or so on Mac books.

Amazon like I said before was my big winner as they flooded my inbox just enough to let me know what the big sales were. I bought most of my gifts in their electronics section which featured heavy bargains.
